How to choose the rotor and stator material of the screw pump
The main working parts of the single screw pump are the screw rotor and the rubber stator that each to match.The material of the parts is determined
according to the characteristics of the conveying medium.The rotor of thesingle screw pump is usually made of alloy steel, SS304 stainless steel, and SS316L.
In order to improve the wear resistance of the rotor, the surface of the rotor should be chrome-plated or tungsten carbide treated, and the coating is generally 0.06--0.08mm.

The inner lining of the stator is mostly made of rubber of various materials. In special cases, it can also be made of plastic,polytetrafluoroethylene or metal.
The rubber grade selected for the stator should be based on the chemical properties of the conveying medium,the amount of impurities and the pressure and
speed of the pump to selecte. Because the medium contains particles and impurities in construction machinery, rubber with high elasticity and low hardness is
generally selected. The stator materials include natural rubber, Buna rubber,Nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, butyl rubber, EPDM rubber, fluorinated rubber,
polyethylene, polyacid vinegar and polyurethane rubber, etc. The stator is made of rubber, and it is also a easy to be damaged part of the single screw pump.
The quality of his choice will directly affect the life of the stator is generally 1-2 years for the stator to be replaced under normal circumstances.
If the rubber sleeve is not selected properly, the rubber sleeve may fall off the steel pipe, the rubber may drop the block, or it may wear out, Corrosion, or age quickly.
